it's September and 99 degrees..  it's fine, it's fine.  with NYFW and the ss2013 lines coming out i'll forget my want for layers and jackets.  for at least a week.

for the entire month of august except for one day we were over 100+ degrees.. breaking records and all sort of things.  which really puts a damper on wanting to you know.. wear clothes.  and the clothes i wore... see above.  probably doesn't help put a stop to people asking me if i was ready to go back to school.  ITS JUST TOO HOT MAN.  and i'm only going to like.. the grocery store.. or post office.

i'll wear 'adult' clothes in the fall.   maybe.

one month later.

helllloooooooooooooooo world.  so it's been pretty much one month since my last post.  ridiculous i know.  a pretty huge dramatic pause for no reason at all and even our 3rd blogaversary has passed.  THREE YEARS.
i'll have to think of something to commemorate it later... but for now.. the first real outfit post in forevers!  I bought the shoes prior to our vacay, and they've been my go-to shoes this summer.  with it's walkable kitten heel, and color scheme.  adore!  I used this sweater much on our trip as well.. not so much here. TOO HOTS.  but indoors is ok.

srsly i'm gonna try to post regularly.  but in the meantime.. our formspring's been blowin' up.  DRUs responses most entertaining.

coral and more

Even in the midst of summer (and may I mention the hottest days have approached us) - I somehow decided to wear slacks to work instead of the usual dresses. I LOVE the coral color and lightness feel of this shirt - it makes me feel so summery. I got it at the Banana Republic outlet - normally about $50, but I got it for less than $10! Go me. =)

Just threw on the pearls for an extra touch. I love how you can throw them onto so many outfits and it just helps to "make" the outfit.

Life has been busy so I won't have time to update on here as much, but once I'm moved and settled in Tokyo - I'll surely be back.
