went out with some gorlfrands to the launch party for the Edward Sanchez Vanity Lounge at Katsuya, a great night where we did a bit more eating and chatting than mingling.. it was a nice GNO in my opinion.  also an excuse to wear nice shoes.

sorry no posts for awhile!!!!   been busy in july... went to canada for a wedding (if you follow me on instagram pics happened)  then the following weekend went to an old friends wedding.. then went to Lake Charles this past weekend to celebrate the hubbys birthday..  and then excite things this weekend.

last week attended the Brilliant Lecture series, featuring Mr. George Clooney.  lucked out with a last minute ticket, 8 rows back from the stage. glorious!  now i was never a huge Clooney fan, sure he's handsome, but after the lecture i can definitely see his charm.  so charismatic, charming, and funny.  even the men in the audience (albeit few) enjoyed it.  It was like watching inside the actors studio live.. although we were deeply missing James Lipton, Miss Lynn Wyatt tried her best i guess.. especially to still be able to walk in 5+inch louboutins.  I will be that svelte when i get to be her age.  all in all a good night.  after he headed off to a fundraiser VIP dinner in which the fabulous Marc&Duyen attended.  JEALOUS.
