last week had the opportunity to meet houston's David Peck - he's as charismatic and inspiring in real life as I expected. what made me adore him more? his drive to bring not just high fashion to houston, but to drive businesses here. from his own successful factory, bringing jobs to houston, but also his participation in the greater houston partnerships 'houston fashion task force' helping show Houston is a desirable city for fashion businesses and suppliers, and lastly his David Peck CrOp - where buying also means giving. and of course I got a peak at the fall 2012 collection.. can't wait to see them hit the racks!

This year was the first time there was a Saskatchewan Fashion Week, all due to a group of people who wanted to make it all possible. Without people like that great things wouldn't get accomplished!
