a very purple winter

So I finally mustered up the courage to ask my roommate to take some pics of my outfit. I've always been hesitant because I didn't want him to think I was vain, but then I found out that he had a website dedicated to anime and Japanese toys and although it's nothing like taking pics of yourself, at least he understands this blogging world. Also I was getting tired of Dru & Issa complaining about my pics and narrow mirror. So here's to many!

Winter is coming! You can totally feel it walking on the streets of Tokyo. I have plenty of coats, but didn't want to lug them all back to Japan so I left most of them at home. The other day while walking through Harajuku, I found this awesome purple jacket that is roomy enough so I am able to wear something underneath, but light enough for days that aren't too chilly.

PS. I just got those boots last week in the neighborhood I used to live in. Some days when I just feel like roaming around - I'll go there and spend hours just browsing. The past 2 times, though - I came home with 3 pairs of boots each. So yes - I treated myself to 6 pairs in the last month. =/ Yikes!
