Miu Miu Morning

I wore the above outfit to a recent visit to the Miu Miu Houston store where Issa and I got to ooh and ahh over their current and upcoming collection.  Since I tend to think feminine when it comes to Miu Miu, I decided to go more ladylike with my outfit: a structured crop top with a fitted midi-skirt. 

There were plenty of gorgeous feminine pieces (that luxe pink ostrich skin trio above...cookie included), but also plenty of gorgeous edgier pieces that I didn’t expect.  See: black fur collars and coats, and steel-toed biker boots with harnesses that loop under the heel (I die for that detail in boots).  

We also got to preview their new motorcycle jacket-inspired purse collection, and in my excitement over them I forgot to take any photos.  Let’s just say they were very beautiful and I was very excited.  So excited that I may have interrupted the Miu Miu representative who was telling a group of us about the collection with my exclamations.   

I was always the quiet student in class who had to work up the courage to speak up, and I tend to listen rather than speak, but show me some black leather goodness and suddenly I’m all I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT THIS AND I MUST TELL YOU ALL THE THINGS.  The glass of champagne I was handed moments before may have also been complicit.
