out with the old ombre

i was slowly getting tired of the ombre hair.. and it not so slowly turning brassy all the time.  plus when the entire female cast on glee has ombre hair.. it was time for me to move on.  why not purple??  obvious choice right?   and i decided to do it myself.  maybe not so smart.

if you're interested in the process i used black for the top to bring it down to about my nose level.. then used ion brilliance in purple.. which just turned my hair dark.. with a light hint of purple.. maybe grey.  these inside lights do weird tricks.   the next day i followed up with manic panic amplifieds ultra violet.  which made the ends much more noticeable . and my white shirts not so white anymore.   end result?  you can see the hints of purple in the sun - looks black for the most part the rest of the time. that photo with teh hair was outside when sunny and slightly overexposed.  LOOKS GOOD MAN.

anyways me and fifi went to the rent the runway fall pre-launch party the other day at Katsuya.  it was a small affair but we still managed to mingle with a few other local bloggers before going to St. Genevieve for some REAL TALK and snacks.   good times.
