I always dress up for church - that's how I was raised. Even though most churches that I've been to in LA are very casual (the pastors wear jeans and sometimes even shorts!) - I still have to wear my Sunday best. It gives me an excuse to get to dress up at least once a week.

I was in Houston this past weekend and got to reunite with Issa & Roz for Roz's wedding. It was soooo wonderful seeing them again since we don't get that many chances anymore. Will be posting pics of the 3 of us together soon!

    I'm the same way :) I always dress up for church no matter how tired (and sometimes late) I am. Even though a lot of young generation churches are more casual, I still like to dress up cause I hardly do during the week for work. But I also think it's important to look nice for church because we put effort into looking good for other occassions and events.

    Great post! Love your outfit. The dress looks beautiful on you and I love your boots. And you definitely look your best for Sunday!

    I think it's appropriate to dress up! I dress up at least a little for the theater too. I think it's inappropriate for people to go in jeans.

    I love dressing up for church too. Sometimes work wear just drags you down but it's nice to get all spiffy one day a week.
