tank: f21, skirt: vintage, wedges: target
so the other day i was chatting it up with tramanh of phi-style about our ADD in personal style. i used to always lean towards the girly semi classic side of things.. but lately the world of fashion blogging has really opened me up into different realms.. and i'm all WANT TO TRY. which has made my style quite uncohesive and sporadic at times.. i mean out of the SATC girls i was always so charlotte.. now i'm finally adding a bit of everyone else in mix. but for typical issa.. a high-waisted skirt always does the trick. and yay my bangs are finally long enough to part in the middle.. thought i'd try it out.
by the way if you're a fan of gossip girl... Dove go fresh and Gossip Girl have produced some shorts called Gossip Girl: real NYC stories revealed.. the video series gives Gossip Girl fans a glimpse into the real lives of four young women who lived in the same Manhattan hotbed as the Gossip Girl characters, while revealing real life stories about juggling careers, love, finances, family and friends.. oh and the new dove nectarine/ginger body wash smells so good.

the long skirt looks really good on you. for some reason i can't do long skirt. hm... may have to try again.
ReplyDeleteI so agree, blogging and street style sites like chictopia and lookbook have utterly opened my eyes to so many fashion inspirations! Always good to try new things, although be prepared to get a few up&down looks from regular people ;)
ReplyDeleteThat skirt looks so wonderful. And I know what you mean, looking at so many fashion bloggers, even if its women's fashion, influences me more than I had though!
ReplyDeleteYou rock that high-waisted skirt! This length can be very unflattering but it just looks fantastic on you!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about changing personal style, I feel like I don't have a true style because I'm always changing.
ReplyDeleteI love your two pictures. They're both of you in the same outfit, but the executions are totally different.
I totally agree with you!
ReplyDeleteI love this....it looks great and I think very "you" for what it is worth:)
i totally agree with you and tramanh. my husband is always wondering why my style keeps changing and gets all annoyed because that just means i keep spending money. haha. little does he know that even IF i end up sticking to one style, i'll never stop shopping! =)

love this chic casual look. sexy!
ReplyDeleteAnd you always look FAB in every outfit you wear!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't say I like that outfit, but if that's your style then probably you like yourself which is most important. But I think if you accessorize more and use bright colors will look better. To me these clothes will fit more some older woman. But that's just my point of view, no offense...
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with being girly. Loving your shoes!
ReplyDeleteHi there :)
ReplyDeleteMe too - definitely a Charlotte dresser. It suits you though, and me too, I hope (I have the same body as Charlotte too, small waist, big hips!)
