black and cream

blazer: petite sophisticate, tee: kohls, cropped pants: banana republic, wedges: wetseal

just threw a few basics together last week, while in my 'blah' mood.. the pants and the blazer are both approximately 8 years old... being a business major back in college definitely added some useful blazers in my closet :)

had quite the busy weekend with errands, house things and family and friends.. and finally watched slumdog millionaire.. LOVED IT.

anyways hope everyone had a great weekend and lunar new years :)

  10. Glad I'm not the only one who has gotten something from petite sophisticate. I always deemed it "the little old lady's store" till I found a cute black dress there that fit perfectly. A few months later I found a red dress. Ever so often they'll have at least one item I like.

  19. I was a business major as well :)

I do have to say that I do keep my classic pieces like blazers and certain sweaters for quite a bit but I think I was too busy being "trendy" in high school and college so I never bothered to keep anything! Now that I've moved onto more of a classic look I have a lot more pieces that I can keep for a long time!
