lace tunic: handmade, tank/skirt: target, ribbed tights: unknown, navy pumps: payless
after taking a break from sewing skirts, i was finally able to experiment a little with this navy lace fabric i had purchased. i really liked the scalloped edge and thought i'd attempt to make a dress/tunic.. it ended up way too short to be a dress.. but layered over a bandage skirt i thought i could still pull it off. i made it where it sits high to the neck in the front and lower in the back.. i thought it turned out semi-decent.. and decided to wear it out to dinner for my mother's birthday. whom i'd have to say i got my sewing and fashion bug from..
of course i figured i had better take a photo.. and with all the natural light gone.. i had to resort to house lights.. which is why this photo isn't in the bedroom as usual :)
