outfit2_ skirt: vintage (japan), tubetop: wetseal (like 10 yrs ago), sandals: simply vera
so the weekend before last i actually took photos of my outfits.. 2 totally different styles.. after wearing the first outfit on saturday.. to run errands with the husband.. it was decidedly still too hot for sleeves.. and boots. so on sunday when i did a bit of outdoor shopping on my own i made sure i was dressed for the weather. i hadn't worn a tubetop in who knows how long let alone with my midriff showing, so i felt a bit nekkid.. it was experimental.. and i figured i only have like a year or two before this is possibly no longer age appropriate..

Hmm. I wear tube tops, and I'm a lot older than you! I wear long ones, though, ones that go far past the waistband of my low-rise jeans.

@ enc: oh dear! long strapless tops definitely do not have an age limit! you are fabulous at forty! i was thinking i probably shouldn't be baring my midriff past 30 though.. i have teenage neighbors and i'd hate to get confused for one!

ReplyDeleteand you know...i hated jumpsuits for a long time. but everywhere i went, i seemed to have a knack for finding the only one in the store. it had to be a sign, so i tried one on. and now i'm hooked. ugh, one more thing to spend money on!!
