pencil skirt: modified an old skirt, grey tee: kohls, heels: target

so there's a hurricane coming... you wouldn't know it by the weather outside today... but the city is hunkered down, the lines at the gas stations are ridiculous, and the shelves at the grocery store are empty. and i have off tomorrow as do most people here. i've been pretty calm about the whole thing.. thinking it'll just miss us.. and so far it looks to still be shifting east each time there's a track update.. so we'll see. we'll just hope for the best! just in cases if we don't get a chance to update for a bit.. everyone have a happy and safe weekend!!

update: things aren't looking good for us... i'll keep ya'll updated! thanks for the well wishes!

    Oh my dear, I didn't hear the news to know something about that, but I hope everything went well.

    I'm much tiered, stressed and overwhelmed, so to prevent a breakdown I must slow a bit.
    I think I'm not stopping blogging, I'm too addicted to it, but I would spend less time blogging, so visiting blogs will not be on a daily basis as I was doing.

    ohh i hope that everything is well over there and that you're safe. the idea of a hurricane is so frightening to my australian self but you americans always seem quite calm about them.
