hey everyone! sorry for the delay of the update.. but just wanted to let everyone know that we're all ok and with electricity! the city is still 69% without power.. so we're definitely the lucky ones. and there was very minor damage to the house.. one house over was not so lucky.. everyone on my street has finished cleaning their yards from debris and i just bundled up the branches behind me.. the city is under marshall law and it's just really odd having minimal grocery stores and gas stations opened.. the storm itself was pretty scary... it was definitely a sleepless night as the winds pounded on the house. i'll definitely do a better job on stocking up on supplies next time (hopefully there is not a next time) our hand crank radio was a savior as well! I'll be trying to check out all your wonderful blogs to see what we've missed.. so forgive me for delayed replies!

also, me and roz are actually taking a trip to NYC for a long weekend.. that'll be a nice getaway... so we'll catch up with you all next week...

    Gosh, I hate Hurricanes/Tropical Storms. Glad to hear you're OK. We went without electricity for a week once with Hurricane Wilma. :/

    Wow, that outfit is so effortless and chic. i love it! Parts of my city too is still without power. Thankfully, my street never lost its electricity and everything stayed intact.
