NYFW Adventures Part 1

WIW to the Herve Leger Show @ Lincoln Center
New York Fashion Week went by a flash. Some of you may remember that I decided to make the trek there in early September to have my very first NYFW experience. What an experience it was that this post is so late. You can just say that I'm still in recovery mode. My first stop after arrival was a visit to celebrity designer Gemma Kahng's studio and take a look at her fall/winter collection. It was fur-licious to say the least, and in my favor mostly monochromatic black and white.

The next day I had my first official show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. It was for Herve Leger and it was a packed house. Quickly after realizing that unless you're seated front row any viable photos were for naught, I just sat back and enjoyed the slew of how variant a slew of body-con dresses could be. I could definitely see a Japanese influence in their SS2015 collection, with multiple kimono-esque looks walking down the runway. Despite missing out on any great photos of the actual show I grabbed some video of the finale, and I did get a snap with the designer Lubov herself at the Azria after party.

The next night I followed up with the Nanette Lepore show, which was a hot ticket item for the young trendy bohemian crowd. I once again attempted to snap some photos during the show to no avail. But I'm definitely excited about next seasons spring/summer collection. So many flowy dresses and crop tops are definitely a thing to stay for awhile.

I did manage to run into Wendy from Wendy's Lookbook after the show
