Runway for a Cure Houston

Last Thursday was the 3rd Annual Runway for a Cure event held at Proof Bar in Midtown. You'll recognize the place from our photoshoot with Katie Design. This was our first year to attend, and let me tell y'all it was an amazing thing for being only 3 years in, and of course packed with a well dressed crowd.
It all started 3 years ago as a birthday party for Omar one of our photog frands, who wanted to do something instead of just going out to get wasted, so he decided to host a fashion show and raise money for a cause. This year it benefited the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, along with the Man and Woman of the Year Campaign.
We were honored to be seated in a covetable blogger section with bottle service by Circulo Tequila (goes so well with cranberry juice!) and gifted an array of goodies in our swag bags from little soya to azuz boutique.
Now the fashunz. Isrel Fonseca kicked off the show with his first capsule collection. Love. Followed by Azuz Boutique (found in Rice Village) love their mix of pieces from Tibi to Jessica Faulkner. Third was Inclan with lots of cool color-blocking. Stacks on Racks showed some vintage wear, Jiozei won us over with his fur. And Danny Nguyen closed out the show with some studded pieces and of course some signature gowns.
