headed off to an engagement party in this.. without a jacket. yes it is January, but it's nearly 80 degrees. it actually made me a bit sad because i had really wanted to wear a few dresses i had bought.. you know.. for use in the winter. maybe during the next cool front. also please excuse the dog hair all ova' the place.
this was also the first formal engagement party i've been to in years. i didn't know if people were still having them.. which posed all forms of etiquette questions, including dress code. for example, the husband wanted to wear jeans. WAT? of course not. there was a mailed invite. paper goods means proper dressing in my book.

that dress is so pretty! like it was made for you! and 80 degrees? oh my! actually it is suppose to reach almost 60 here in nyc tomorrow...which will feel refreshing after a week of BEYOND COLD temps
