Speaking of love, your outfit is fantastic. I have similar black boots that I wear almost every day, and have been looking for socks like that. I can't believe they've been at Target the whole time!

And the Rachel Roy piece I like best is this one: http://www.shopbop.com/jenni-drape-dress-rachel-roy/vp/v=1/845524441852210.htm?folderID=2534374302123237&fm=browse-brand-shopbysize-viewall
The dress would be perfect for layering in the winter and wearing by itself with some frilly, flowery accessories in the summer.

  16. Love the Marbella Dress, but that's too many numbers in front of the decimal point. Not to mention that ever so pesky comma. The Nicole Top comes in second perhaps because who doesn't need a little ventilation near their neckline.

  17. First of all, I love this outfit!!!

I would choose the Jenni Drape Dress. The silhouette on this beautiful piece is absolutely timeless. You could pile on pearls to give it a 20's vibe, or wear it with a tough heel to make it very "now". I can imagine that putting this gorgeous silk dress on would make any woman feel beautiful:)

  23. I love Rachel Roy blazers! I don't know if I LOVE any of the pieces that Shopbop has, but if I had to pick, I'd choose the lace cut-out dress. It's classy and elegant, and since it's Rachel Roy, it's well made and won't be falling apart after one wear! I'd wear it to one of my holiday parties this year, with some statement heels and a fur stole (one that I don't have but am currently needing!)

BTW, I love your blog! :)

  24. First of all let me say that you look fantastic! I love the knee highs with the boots.

Secondly, I love Rachel Roy. The asymmetric dress is my favorite because that's the clean but chic style that I think of when I think of Rachel Roy. Like something Audrey Hepburn would wear if she was filming Funny Face today.

  25. The piece that immediately caught my eye is the Martine Asymmetrical Dress. It has such a beautiful structure that is simple, yet elegant and sophisticated. It would look chic alone or accessorized with a wide patent black belt.

  30. I adore the Martine Assymetrical Dress. I wouldn't want to detract from the elegant lines, so I'd keep it simple. For jewelry, I'd go either (but not both) with a classic diamond -- or lookalike -- stud earring or one wide, chunky black bangle.

Then I'd like to shake things up a bit with a counterpoint to the elegance, without going overboard. I'd wear black tights with some texture and black ankle boots with a bit of a (chunkier) heel.

On another day, I might wear an ultra-thin black belt with the dress and introduce some color -- deep purple tights and a black bootie with a tall, slim heel, and an "important' (in size) ring with purple stones. Or, in a variation, black tights and the booties in purple.

As to a bag, I'd wear a clutch with a similar look-and-feel to the shoes.

  33. Your outfit is divine! You look so lovely all the time. :)

I absolutely love the Martine Asymmetrical Dress. It is soo incredibly chic. You can wear this dress everywhere and anywhere.. I would even wear it at home while doing this dishes.. I'd pair it with fuschia rubber dishwashing gloves, a single strand of pearls, and black stilletos :)... because even though washing dishes isn't so glamourous, why not look glamourous doing them. I love to dress up, no matter what the occasion.

    Take care, love & Aloha!!!

  34. The Nicole top is absolutely divine! It's sexy without being too in your face - it's very subtle and would work well in an understated way. I'd love to wear it with some skinny jeans, black wedge booties, and an antique bracelet or two... and I'd feel like a million bucks.

  37. Beau-ti-ful. I would definitely grab the "Jenni Drape Dress" in grey: The sweetheart neckline, the gathered bust, the tea-length hem--it all adds up to one luxurious dress.

For colder weather, I would pair this dress with a cashmere cardigan and wear this to an evening wedding. For black-tie holiday get-togethers, I'd add bold silver-and-gold jewelry and some strappy flats for some Old-Hollywood glamour. Finally, if I needed a "just-because" reason to wear this dress out for a night on the town, I would buckle a big leather belt around the waist, grab a clutch and some barely-there sandals and be all set.

Essentially? I would work this dress all the time!

  38. Jenni Drape Dress is my number one pick. The fact that it has impeccable pleating and the color is so versatile, it had to be my choice.

Since the dress would probably be a long gown on me, I can imagine wearing it to a elegant & chic party. I would pair it with a faux fur jacket and suede deep green louboutin pumps. I'm a minimalist when it comes to accessorizing, so I would a lauren Merkin clutch (I love the shapes of her clutches)

I love creating textures with different fabrics and patterns so that was my inspiration

And i must say your outfit is lovely. I love dresses with blazers they work so amazingly well together.

  41. The Martine Asymmetrical Dress is my fave Rachel Roy item on Shopbop. I can just see myself stepping out in it for a long winter’s night in the city with my new husband. It is so sleek, and its asymmetrical neckline is the perfect backdrop for a cozy, quirky handknit scarf, tall black high heel boots, a touch of glitter on my eyelids, and a heart full of love and dreams.

  42. The Sira jacket is my favorite. I have a soft spot for leather jackets, and I see this piece transitioning seamlessly from fall to winter and even into spring. It's the kind of piece that can easily be dressed up or down, though I'd probably pair it with a James Perse tank, a fantastic oversized scarf, skinny black jeans or black denim leggings, and some fantastic boots - in a perfect world, I'd wear this season's fantastic Fendi gray suede ankle boots with mink on the vamp. Realistically, I'd pair them with some of the Mini Market wedge boots for a casual day-to-day look.

  43. My favorite is the Scuplted Shoulder Dress! This dress reminds me so much of Victoria Beckham. It's so simple but yet it's simplicity gives it all the glamour.

I would pair this with knee high dressy socks, black patent pumps and a clutch. And a small silver necklace.

  44. I love the Graphic Back Sculpted Pocket Dress! For winter green ankle booties with lace patterned tights and a simple cropped leather jacket for the cold nights. Quite the statement when the jacket comes off. I love that is shows some skin but isn't too risque.

  45. The moment I saw the Martine Asymmetrical Dress, my breath paused and my imagination was enlivened; the evening I would have if I could have that piece flashed before my mind's eye in one of those phantasmagoric yet comforting type of daydreams.

It has a classic silhouette that evokes the most lady-like of intuitions, so a marathon of bathroom rituals to get my skin and hair radiant would be in order. However, I see a hint of vampiness in the neckline and in the slight flare of the hem, and that is what would dictate my cosmetic choices: to balance the pop of some Ardell (or maybe Shu Uemura) falsies I would rim my eyes with a mixture of dark brown matte shadow and moisturizer, deftly swipe the apples of my cheeks with a deep umber or perhaps a soft copper and drench my lips in MAC Viva Glam I.

Waves leading back to an intricate- but just barely loose- chingnon adorned with a haircomb would be the perfect updo to pair with statement-making but not too gaudy chandelier earrings. An arm of stacked bangles (either white gold or black and dark cranberry Bakelite) in varying sizes might match the boldness of that smoldering neckline, but I might be tempted to go with a delicate platinum slave bracelet. Then again, the allure of elbow-length gloves may prove too strong.

The dress has a chic structure on its own, but I would add a thin, bright mauve belt at the waist.

Although I have listed many either/or descriptions in this post (forgive my indecisiveness0_o) I am sure that I would slowly sashay in this dress upon my 3" black, brass trompe l'oeil buckle accented, peep-toe, stacked-heel, platform Aerosoles. Very sure.

I would go into more details (like maybe choices of clutch, perfume or unmentionables^_^) but my imagination is calling me back.
    And congrats to whoever wins.
