threw on one of the first skirts i made for myself.. which reminds me that i srsly need to dust off my sewing machine.. and start making something new...
and srsly why is it already too hot for things like sleeves... and pants. i guess at least there's a periodic breeze, which somehow always happens to catch my skirt..
so quick question, what is your best tactic when wearing a flowy skirt.. when wind can sometimes be an issue?

  1. Lady, if I wore a scrunchy elastic-waist skirt at my natural waist I'd look like a sack of potatoes. How do you DO that?

  3. I gather a hand full of my skirt while walking, and then stick it between my legs when I'm opening my car door or when I'm getting gas.
    haha

  8. Thanks for visiting my blog! I've been following your blog for awhile now, you definitely rock things I could never even imagine trying! =)

Seriously, for skirts on a windy day, I just wear boyshorts under and call it a day.

Love your outfits! (And your dog!)

  11. hmm, it's been YEARS since i've worn a skirt. and very rarely do i wear dresses. if i AM in a dress-mode, i tend to gravitate towards maxi dresses so i guess i don't really have that problem, haha.

  12. short shorts underneath...them you really don't have to worry about it. And when the pervert thinks he's gonna get a peak, he's disappointed..ahahahaha

  13. You did a great job on the skirt. As far as covering yourself, I double up with boyshorts and a pretty slip.

in the winter, tights or leggings save me, but in the summer, I usually just put on a pair of ruffly bottoms and hope for the best!
