threw on one of the first skirts i made for myself.. which reminds me that i srsly need to dust off my sewing machine.. and start making something new...
and srsly why is it already too hot for things like sleeves... and pants. i guess at least there's a periodic breeze, which somehow always happens to catch my skirt..
so quick question, what is your best tactic when wearing a flowy skirt.. when wind can sometimes be an issue?

  1. Lady, if I wore a scrunchy elastic-waist skirt at my natural waist I'd look like a sack of potatoes. How do you DO that?

  2. I gather a hand full of my skirt while walking, and then stick it between my legs when I'm opening my car door or when I'm getting gas.
    haha

  3. Love the color! I don't know any solutions, so if you find an answer let me know! I totally just had a wardrobe malfunction with this not too long ago.

  7. Thanks for visiting my blog! I've been following your blog for awhile now, you definitely rock things I could never even imagine trying! =)

Seriously, for skirts on a windy day, I just wear boyshorts under and call it a day.

Love your outfits! (And your dog!)

  10. hmm, it's been YEARS since i've worn a skirt. and very rarely do i wear dresses. if i AM in a dress-mode, i tend to gravitate towards maxi dresses so i guess i don't really have that problem, haha.

  11. short shorts underneath...them you really don't have to worry about it. And when the pervert thinks he's gonna get a peak, he's disappointed..ahahahaha

  12. You did a great job on the skirt. As far as covering yourself, I double up with boyshorts and a pretty slip.

in the winter, tights or leggings save me, but in the summer, I usually just put on a pair of ruffly bottoms and hope for the best!
