It's superlight, supercomfortable and more than a few years old. I like that it has faux elbow patches (faux ‘bows) so it makes me seem somewhat professorly and adds credibility when I tell girls I am a federal breast inspector (kidding, folks).
I paired the jacket with a t-shirt with a camera hanging off it when I went to do a photoshoot for my friend Tiffany and her son a little while back. Because, you know, it’s kind of cool when people wear what they do on their shirts. Let’s just be glad I’m not a gynecologist HI-OH!
Speaking of va-jay-jays (someone said va-jay-jays, right? Don’t lie.), can you believe that sort of word shows up on the covers of magazines in the supermarket checkout counter? I mean, I’m all for the word when it’s thrown around verbally, but there’s something…. weird when you’re standing in line waiting to pay for some eggs and that word is blaring out in all caps and bold lettering on the latest issue of Cosmo. It made me almost want to put back the eggs. Almost.
Anyway….
So, uh, I like that when I zip up the jacket, it transforms into another outfit. See, look… awkward conversation… TRANSFORM!

ReplyDeleteYou are hilarious. I love the shirt, I love the faux 'bows. You work it rather well.
& yes even for a female. Seeing tha our va-jay-jays are being discussed in a magazine is rather off putting... especially when buying eggs. :)
awesome!
ReplyDeleteVery funny:)
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I like your writing style! And that jacket is just awesome. I usually shop at Gap for my bf.
The tee is click-click chic!
ReplyDeleteMen should wear more brown...But should stop on brown shiny polyester suits though... ;) You guys have a fabulous week!
Dru!!!
ReplyDeleteYou're a very entertaining writer.
Thank you so much for your reply.
F1.4.. that's what I've been looking to buy. I do have 28-70mm F2.8 but do want a faster lens.. drool.
I do like the way you treat your photos though. There's this certain look.. how do I say it. It's not quite 'vintage' but somewhat worn look.. how do you do it?

Love the t-shirt with the camera! And YEAH I'm glad you're not a gynecologist. Kidding.

LOL i am totally with you on the whole V thing. seriously, can u imagine if u had a kid w/u and they look up at you and ask you what a va-jay-jay is. i'd def. put the eggs away at that point.

"Faux 'bows"- absolutely brilliant! I don't know if that would convince me of your FBI standing, but the tee would totally make me believe you are the next Tim Walker (my favorite fashion photographer at the mo').
ReplyDeleteWe like it! The jacket and those shoes!
