sorry for these craptacular photos.. apparently my camera only likes the lighting in my bedroom and not the rest of the house. anyways here are attempts at dressing for the season but still being work appropriate... well for my office. i hadn't worn any of my 'dressier' puff skirts to work because i felt the sheen on them made them more nighttime appropriate.. but decided i better get some use outta them since i really don't have that many nighttime events to go to.. i figured i'd dress it down slightly with a cashmere sweater set and the boots.. yet still feel festive. despite both photos having pee than pea behind me.. the stocking holders actually spells out peace. :)
the second look is based around the vest.. i really wanted to wear it since i dug it out from storage (my parents house).. it actually goes with the tartan shorts from earlier.. the vest has the same tartan print on the back.. though you can't really tell in the photo.. which i had to do weird lightening effects on cause of the horrid lighting. oh and ya i totally have 2 trees... the kitchen tree (which is full of gingerbread men ornaments and xmas cookie cutters) has some leaning issues though.
