lifesavers.

button-up: old navy, gaucho shorts: f21/diy, sweater vest: vintage, boots: seychelles

this is absolutely my favorite sweater vest ever. and it's actually a hand me down from my mom back in her college days.. crazy that she kept it for so long eh? i'm guilty of holding on to things for awhile too.. as well as giving things away right before they come full circle back into style. anyways back to the vest.. i just adore the colors in it.. it's reminds me of lifesavers candy.. but in a more fall-ish color scheme.. oh and i just wanted to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving!! don't think i'll have time to update til after the holiday.. much cooking to do.. i'll be hosting dinner for 7 tomorrow night and i have to start making the desserts tonight.. then theres' much shopping.. and sewing to do as well over the long weekend!

if you haven't already, be sure to enter the skirt giveaway contest!

  5. I envy your guests. I'm sure you cook up a delish meal! I'm gonna attempt to make stuffing but that's about it! :)

the lifesaver vest is adorable on you. I am bad at holding onto stuff. I give away stuff so often that I forget what I have given away!

  19. Oh, I love the 'stories' that are connected to vintage items... I own quite a lot of my mum's old clothes too. And when she tells me of her clothes back in the 70s, I'm always so mad at her for not saving them for me ^^ Have a lovely holiday, my dear!
Hm., let's see if I can come up with a good haiku for the skirt giveaway contest.
