nothing and everything makes sense

I wear variations of this outfit a lot, and I think that's weird.  Because how can a crop-top tie-front button-up paired with a skort be a thing, let alone one that would make for a go-to outfit?  One outfit element consists of THREE double-hyphenated terms and the other element is a portmanteau most often seen on girls in elementary school.  And yet, I own multiple crop-top tie-front button-ups and skorts.  And wear them together all the time.

This pairing admittedly makes for a pretty small outfit that shows a fair amount of skin.  And so a pair of 6-inch nude heels seems like yet another nonsensical element to throw into the mix.  But my justification is that the chunky heel and overall clunky look of the sandal makes sure no es too sexy.  And also that sometimes you just need to let your legs look crazy.
